Who We Are

Based on the truths of Ephesians 4:11-13, Hilltop Community Church exists to "equip the saints." This is what we measure every new idea by; it is primary for every ministry in our church. Yearly, the leadership of our church re-examines our philosophy, agreeing to it and operates by it.

At Hilltop Community Church we want to equip the saints by nurturing, educating, and training so the saints can do the work of service and build up the Body of Christ. It is our belief that the church meets together for edification (to be equipped and built up), then scatters to serve, reach out, and minister in each of our particular families, neighborhoods, jobs, and relationships. We encourage the scattered saints to look at these places as God's particular place and people and to reach out to and touch with God's love and His message. Because of our basic thinking concerning why the saints gather, we see evangelism as a result rather than an emphasis.

In many ways, the leadership of HCC has looked at ourselves as a boot camp, here to equip the saints the Lord brings together at HCC, and then send them out to live and share God's message.
