Making Disciples of Children
Do you want your kids to know Jesus, memorize His word and have a great time doing it? AWANA could be for you. AWANA is an acronym that stands for "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed", and it is an organization founded on the importance of making disciples of kids.
APPROVED WORKMEN ARE NOT ASHAMED
At AWANA we teach children to follow the Lord in various ways. Cubbies (3-4 yrs.) learn verses about how God loves them. Sparkies (K-2nd grade) build the foundation for biblical wisdom. T&T (3RD – 6th grade) teaches about salvation in Christ and how to walk faithfully with Christ. Trek (7th – 8th grade) challenges middle-school students to consider their destiny in Christ and to pursue it through life application of God’s Word. Journey (9th – 12th grade) is a deep study of God’s Word which mobilizes them to live with godly perspective and evident faith as lifelong disciples.
Cubbies (Age 3-4) –6:30 to 8:30pm on Thursday Nights September through April
Sparkies (Kindergarten – 2ndgrade)– 6:30 to 8:30pm on Thursday Nights September through April
T&T (3rd-6thgrade) –6:30 to 8:30pm on Thursday Nights September through April
Trek (7TH– 8THgrade)* –5 to 6pm on Thursday Nights September through April
Journey (9th– 12thgrade)* –5 to 6pm on Thursday Nights September through April
*Trek and Journey students can also be student leaders for the Cubbies, Sparkies and T&T kids following their club. It's a great way to put what they are learning directly into service for the Lord.
